Owner and piercer Brett Perkins is a predator, physical and sexual abuser, preying on woman as young as 13. Multiple woman has come out with their own stories of abuse by Brett, including incidents of domestic violence, coercing apprentices/ interns into trading sex for training, harassing female colleagues, and manipulating a 13 year old client into a sexual relationship with Brett when he is 39/40 year old. This place was a pleasant surprise. The tattoo artists took a lot of time to explain post-tattoo care and while that might not seem like a huge deal, it was reassuring for me. I stopped by the place because it is close to my house with the intent of just asking some questions - my tattoo was a mental concept and I had questions about it (white ink, font I wanted to use, etc).
