Like all Admirals Clubs, it's in need of a serious makeover with respect to other more modern clubs coming out. The food has always been my biggest complaint. They've attempted to upgrade what they offer by adding some quasi hard-boiled egg with bacon breakfast sandwiches, however, they're not that great. The rest of the food is the same terrible, cheap garbage they've served for years (which nobody eats because it's always readily available.) Five hour flight delay ORD to LAX. Stuck in lough. Service is self serve but what I expected. Atmosphere is fine, not over crowed, sitting is comfortable, clean, well lit. Food is slim pickings and not kept fully stocked with fresh refills.
Overpriced and underwhelming. United Lounge is 100% worth your money. The day pass is cheaper. They offer a lot more food and the seating is way more accommodating. Lounge charges for almost all the food items on the menu and the day pass drinks is very limited. $79 and most of the area is overlit and most of the seats you have to set your food next to you. There is an aura that your back to back with seating and no privacy, tons of loud people. United Lounge has robots as well.
Military are denied entry unless in uniform even if we are on orders. As if we all travel in uniform what kind of policy is that. Complete waist of time I'll just go to the other lounges.
A Surprisingly Authentic Experience This lounge was pleasantly uncrowded on a Wednesday late morning, making for a relaxed atmosphere. The service was good, and I was genuinely impressed that the appetizers weren't overly salty – a common pitfall in many lounges. The real standout, however, was the Tonkotsu soup.
