Great Place to Take the Kids Adkins Arboretum is a wonderful place to take children to learn about local nature. They have programs and classes for children and adult as well as nature walks and other activities. The prices are very reasonable. We went to a class about bugs where the little ones did a craft and hunted for bugs with butterfly nets. It was great fun!
