They will hit you with any possible fee they can. My account overdrew by $.99 and I didn’t notice it right away and they hit me with a $38 overdraw fee. That’s asinine, it was 99 cents! And the fees to transfer YOUR OWN MONEY from savings to checking, shouldn’t even be a thing. But it is with this lovely bank. Had accounts with them since I was in high school but not anymore. Adirondack came after a roof tear up over the winter and said that this water damage down my walls wasn’t bad enough to remove ... to just skim coat it and paint it. Now I have a mold issue in my entire back room and they are not going to pay for it🤬 I do not recommend this company!!!!!

I am a long time summer visitor to Old Forge so I went in today to open a checking account for convenience’s sake in the summer. My husband and I plan to retire to Old Forge within the next five years, so it was going to be the start of a long term banking relationship. I was told the bank had a rule that I could not open an account without documentation of a local address in the area. Currently we rent during our visits, so that wasn’t an option.
