Definately "Highly" recommend anyone with a suspected or diagnosed skin cancer to attend this clinic. I was diagnosed with a suspected BCC (Basel Cell Carcinoma) on the right tip of my nose just below the nose crease, by a dermatologist at an Independent clinic, who referred me to the Modbury Hospital. I was not comfortable with the amount of tissue to be removed & skin graft offered by the Plastic Surgeon at the Hospital through the public system. Further research by myself into BCC removal, I came across MOHS Surgery & the... read more
Dr Tran was very personable and reassuring. My surgery was highly successful, much less traumatic than I expected. After 14 days, I have no noticeable scar. The cost was very reasonable ( at least with PHI). Reception and nursing staff were all polite and efficient.
If I could give 10 stars I would. I've received the most thoughtful and respectful care from Dr Tran and the whole team at ASEC, from my first phone call until now in my post-operative stage. Very kind respectful people. I've had several BCCs removed and there will probably be more. After 20 years of average quality regular skin checks in five states, I feel grateful to have finally found this team. I don't live in Adelaide but I won't hesitate to travel there for the rest of my life for this sort of care.
Can't speak highly enough of Dr Tran, an absolute professional. I would recommend him to anybody looking for Mohs surgery or similar in Adelaide. The surgery was able to get me in as a self-funded patient within a week of referral, and the procedure was completed the day after the initial consultation.
All staff were very professional, patient in trying times, helpful to those juggling Covid check is, vaccine info etc. the stress must be enormous for them with ever changing rules and regulations. I had day surgery and cannot family the facility- nurse Sarah was amazing making everyone feel comfortable and tend to their needs as each person came out of surgery. A first class facility with first class doctors and nurses. The coffee machine was a nice surprise after my procedure. Keep up the great work.
