Inefficient and disorganized, unprofessional and incompetent. Proceeded without getting complete details, costing me almost 20 grand. Couldn’t find the provided documents, and then charged me again for the time. Even their barrister said it would be unethical for him to pursue our case if not well considered , and as it is, with little possibility of winning. New lawyer told me to get a refund., but Wilson said we won’t get our money back. Will complain to commission.

I enquired about an launching an anti discrimination case against Optus in Robina after they threatened me with police getting me thrown out of the store and call me basically a liar, because I was not wearing a mask and told them I had an exemption which I do. They then forced me to share my private medical information with two of their staff before they would fix my phone problem. Disaster. They promised this and that, but never delivered anything. We have lost 20 thousands because of their unethical tricks (I cannot stress this enough - they simply used us for heir own benefit). I would sue them for it, but it has no sense financially... Unfortunately, I cannot cover our losses now, and all I can do is to report them to Queensland Law Society and leave a review here to warn other people. Brett Wilson abandoned my case when I questioned his twenty thousand dollar quote, and worst still has been uncontactable since. I have left several messages and am yet to have received a call back. After taking on my case he went AWOL and when he finally did contact me, he apologised as he had family drama.
