If i can leave no stars i definitely would! WORST LAWYERS i’ve ever encountered starting with the duo JENNIFER BENTON was causing me the most grief I've ever encountered as a single mother when seeking a hand in my child custody case! One thing I must say, Jennifer Benton you are the worst. You take money. You don’t provide results. You lack the sufficiency to call yourself Lawyer, and to be represented by this awful Law Firm. You’re experience is incompetent! one thing i will make sure, is I never recommend anybody to you. I would rather be a pro se litigant on my own struggle and stress myself! rather than depend on you and your team. Worst decision of my life, you guys should be under investigation by the board.
Very disappointed by this lawn firm. I hired one of their partners in December of 2023. I needed help with a child support and custody agreement. Deysha was amazing. Never had an issue, she took care of all of my needs. She even allowed a payment plan to make my payments for my case. Jennifer Benton did not appear at a case management hearing despite collecting a retainer payment and stating in writing "she would handle the issue," nor did she send anyone from her practice on her behalf. She charged exorbitant fees for motions she never filed and motions not appropriate for the case. She charged for a contempt motion, yet no order was on file. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this law firm, particularly with Attorney Benton. In my opinion, the handling of my case appeared unnecessarily prolonged, which resulted in higher costs without delivering the promised results. I was assured that I would obtain sole physical and legal custody, yet the court ultimately ordered a 50/50 arrangement. This has left me feeling misled and financially burdened. I simply want this matter resolved without further expense or empty assurances from Attorney Benton.
