Nope! Skin was NOT cleaned with alcohol (or anything for that matter), pins were Taken out of the sterile wrapping and placed in a pan. Then the pins were removed from my skin,and placed in the same pan. Was that pan ever cleaned!? I also had a bad ear pin that caused it to swell. I was disappointed because the therapy was working, but he also seemed rushed. The office is also busy and noisy. Difficult to relax.
Very nice, highly intelligent. Carl is an excellent person. I had my first appointment today and I felt right at home. I highly recommend him for your acupuncture needs!
I have been going to Carl for several years on a regular basis. I originally went to address blinding migraine headaches that I had suffered from for over 50 years Nothing had worked. Within a few weeks they were less often and less intense. By 6 months they were pretty much gone. I have not had a migraine in at least 2 years. I keep going because I have had surgery and he was amazing to help me manage the pain...but more importantly Carl is a critical part of my healthcare team.
