Brilliant home and staff
Place is a disgrace, mother in law died here of dementia. Not one staff member went the funeral. Things went missing out of her room. Care is is not professional at all.
My nan was here many years ago and within days of staying had her wedding ring stolen. My mum couldn't prove it but management were not interested and it wasnt reported to management either, until my mum chased the issue. Disgusting.
Excellent EMI residential care home. Staff caring and lovely friendly atmosphere.
When my dad went into Acorn with Alzheimer's, the team didn't just welcome him into the family, but all of us as well. They looked after dad for five years, and the love they showed him (and us), especially in dad's last few weeks, was unbelievable. We couldn't have asked for nicer people to be caring for him. We will never forget all they did. As my niece quite rightly said, they are super human. They went over and above to support dad and us. We will never forget the love and care they showed.
