Interesting area for sure, outside it doesn't look much but it's the inside that matters and that's what counts. I used to know a resident man by the name of Tom(?!), he would always sit outside the place striking up a chat with anyone that passed by or just say hello as well. Tom was a tall man maybe 6 ft 4 with short silvery buzz-like hair cut and sometimes he'd venture to Balaclava as well for a free feed. I visited Acland Grange SRS for one month and had a wonderful experience. The PCA staffs were kind and welcomingeven though I came from an external caregiving company. I really appreciated their friendliness and the warm environment. The food was much better than expected well prepared and delicious, with a variety of options like kangaroo, lamb, and my personal favourite, steak. Thank you to both the staff and residents for the kindness and friendships during my time there.
