DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! This is the worst car service ever, and they are thieves! I rented and returned their vehicle over a month ago, and I have yet to receive my deposit back. Every call, message, and voicemail goes unanswered. The reservation team is incredibly rude. I made a reservation for a car through Uber, but when I went to pick it up, the company asked for proof of insurance. They never mentioned this before, and they don't even sell insurance. In my Uber account, I use my husband's credit card, so I couldn't use the insurance from the card. The agent told me to make a new reservation using my credit card, promising that they wouldn't charge me for the first reservation. I did as she said, but it turns out they lied. Not worth it. You have to call the shuttle upon arrival in order for the shuttle to take you to the rental station. You have show proof of insurance prior to driving off a lot. Upon returning your vehicle, you will have to stand in line with the individuals who are there to rent a vehicle. There is a checkout process as opposed to just dropping the vehicle off and heading to your flight. Total waste of time and super inconvenient.
Renter beware!!! Picked up a car with prepaid reservation for 4 days (Hotwire - another mistake) at JFK and upgraded because of extra luggage. Returned early. Clear that my 4 day prepaid with Hotwire is a done deal, but ACE corporate guy tells me "you signed a contract for the upgrade an baby seat" with the attitude of a cheap car rental company squeezing out the most they can get. Trashy company. Will never use again. If you ever want to return a car early, this is not the company to use.
Go with enterprise on 86 st instead
