This is one of the worst car rental experiences I have had. I rented from Ace through Priceline. At pickup, I was told that since I had a Georgia license I would have to provide a copy of the declarations page from my insurance policy, which I did not have. Out of all the cars I have rented previously, I've only had to provide my insurance card on occasion. Then, they do a $500 hold, which is the highest I have ever heard of. What a Bullshit company. Said they won't charge for Car set, and charged. Super heavily overpriced insurance. I paid more for insurance and for the "non-chargable car seat" than I paid for the price and guess what?! You don't find out until you reach their guiche so it's either losing your prepaid money or paying for that stupidity. DON'T RENT HERE NEVER EVER ON YOUR LIFE. Terrible experience. The rental agent, AK, was rude and uninformative. Additional fees felt like hidden charges, and the insurance waiver was not explained at all until we specifically asked. There was no transparency about costs, and when questions were raised, her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. I felt rushed and misled by the lack of clear communication. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend renting from this location.
I had a horrible experience when going to pickup a car I reserved. I have never even considered renting a car from this company just off of it looking like a scam and yesterday proved my point. Customer service is HORRIBLE and they give you completely different information than what is on their site.
