Derek Heppe was nothing short of a MIRACLE!!! If something needed done, HE DID IT!!! Including CUT DOWN A TREE that had been damaged in the hurricane AND DRIVE TWO HOURS to assist a party necessary to the transaction in locating a notary to complete the closing. Derek was a HERO in every sense of the word and using anyone else would be a true tragedy!!!
I work with Derek, he is my Broker. Very well respected in SC. Does things the right way, no shortcuts. He finds the house for his clients that they want, not what he thinks they should have. On top of the laws and abides by them. Works with his clients 100%, works with his agents 100%. He and his spouse, Julia are a team. Always finds the time to answer questions and guidance.

Derek was instrumental in handling the contract negotiations with a FSBO home that we have purchased. The process was rapid - we saw the home on a Saturday at 10AM, met Derek at 11AM, and he took a contract back by 2PM. Our offer was accepted, he picked up the contract, and was back with us by 5PM. We closed this past week, one month later. He was extremely helpful and we could not have managed the details without him. He is very courteous and professional and we are so thankful he guided us through this process.
