Definitely would not recommend accord mortgages. Valued my property at £133k. Sold it a few months later for £155k. The valuation meant a worse loan to value ratio which intern means a higher interest rate/worse product available. Pretty obvious they under value properties to impact your LTV.
Yasin was great on the phone - very thorough in his detail and answered all of my queries without making me feel like I was a burden. He gave really personal service which is rare to see these days.
Stay Away — my strict advice to all home buyers. Their underwriters are clueless. They gave me a Decision in Principle and left a hard credit check on my file, then delayed my straightforward application by a month before finally saying they couldn’t offer a mortgage (with 999 credit score). I have been with accord mortgages as a first time buyer with a 5 year fixed term, buying in COVID. When it was time to renew my mortgage, I used a mortgage advisor provided by accord mortgages. Megan cooper - she was absolutely amazing, really friendly, informative and found me the best mortgage rate and fix term which suited my needs. I am really impressed with Megan and highly recommend her.
