*DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY MORTGAGES* My broker had gotten us a pre approval with Access credit union. But we are now told that Access is not honouring the rate hold as they agreed to for 120 days and cancelling it on June 30th. They also increased their current rates after saying this so if we want to get pre approved again we need to deal with them directly and pay a higher rate which will lower our pre approved amount.
This doesn’t reflect the staff at all but their app is genuinely horrific. I can never log in when I actually need to. It gets to a point where I really want to switch banks
