Robyn was so friendly and helpful. She provided detailed information about the carriage trails. The bikes are well taken care of and super easy to use. We parked at the shop for free all day and easily biked to the nearby carriage roads. Highly recommend for any rentals near Acadia
Great bikes, close to the carriage roads
We were very happy to rent our e-bikes here instead of the shops in Bar Harbor where we were staying. It was a very easy ride into the carriage road by Jordan Pond and did not have to deal with the traffic around Bar Harbor. We parked our car in the store parking lot and rode into the park by Marker 16 on the carriage road. After riding around we parked the bikes by Marker 14 with a very short walk to go to lunch at Jordan Pond House. Robin was knowledgeable and friendly with helping us to plan our ride. What a fantastic bike rental experience! The bikes were comfortable and well-maintained. Robin gave us great advice on routes and highlights in Acadia NP. The shop is very convenient to the carriage roads, and centrally located for many different rides. This corner of the island is less crowded than Bar Harbor; the whole rental process couldn't have been easier!
It was easy and fun to rent an ebike from the Outdoor Center. They gave me a map and suggested places to stop for good views, water, and easy access to the gravel carriage trails.
