Glencairn was once the home of Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn. It was built between 1928 and 1939. Glencairn became a museum after the death of Mildred Pitcairn in 1979. Although ANC is a small school, it has strong opportunities for students to pursue different interests from sports to arts to academics. In my time what stood out the most to me was the relationships with teachers and how they care for your personal future.
The teachers at ANC genuinely care about their students and do their best to prepare them for life after high school.
I graduated from ANC in 2019. I am so thankful I ended up attending and going to a private school for high school. All of the teachers and staff care for each and every student, try their best to form relationships and care about each students well being. They make it easy to find a home at ANC. They’ll teach your kids the little things like shaking hands with people when greeting and eye contact while conversing. My only regrets are not involving myself more.
