We settled with Academic to redo the internals of our 3 wardrobes. After a few back and forth with the designs we finalised them and had signed and dated copies sent to Academic on their behest. Despite that they installed the wrong designs in 2 of the 3 wardrobes and got the measurements for the door wrong on the 3rd. It took them 1 month to come back and fix the mistake. Shelving is ok, but not what we expected. The shelving is not made custom to your space. It comes in one size and then they either leave a gap or cover the gap. We wanted to make our space more economical, however it appears these installations actually waste much space. We were not explained this prior to installation.
We have been customers of Academic wardrobes for the last 4 years. When we bought our house, the best investment we made was putting in built in wardrobes. Since then, we have put in bookcases, another wardrobe and we will keep on going. The quality is exceptional and the service is fantastic. Cannot recommend more highly.
Was attracted by the competitive pricing. But you get what you pay for sadly. Poor workmanship and very defensive when issues were raised. Would not use again.
