A friend of ours recommended Academic Advantage. We worked with Evan for various subjects and he was really helpful with my son. He was patient and took a genuine interest in his work. Later, we worked with Seth for SAT/ACT, and he did a fantastic job with my son. He also helped us with college applications. They cover an incredible amount of subjects & tests and they do it well!

My daughter was struggling with Algebra, so I called up several tutoring companies but decided on Academic Advantage since they did in home tutoring, were affordable and seemed very experienced. We were setup with Wilmer, who was knowledgeable and patient with my daughter. He was really helpful and my daughter's grades improved and she ended up with an A-, a long way from the D+ she had.

We found Academic Advantage on Angieslist. They had good ratings so we thought we would try them out. We at first worked with Adam, who helped my daughter with Algebra. She really struggled with Algebra and math in general. But Adam was patient and made sure she understood the material. At first her grade went from a D to a B+, but by the end of the year she pulled her grade up to an A-. Later on we worked with Seth for SAT/ACT and for college applications. Academic Advantage was recommended to us by several people. We spoke with Seth and he started preparing my daughter for her ACT/SAT. By the time she was done working with him, her score was up over 300 points and she was receiving scholarship offers. Seth also helped her with her college applications and essays, and was equally skilled at that as well. My son's guidance counselor referred us to Seth for help with SAT/ACT and he didn't disappoint. He was instrumental in helping my son boost his scores, get a Bright Futures Scholarship and regain his confidence. We also used other tutors from Academic Advantage and we were equally impressed. They were affordable, came to the home, and showed a genuine interest in my son's improvement. I would definitely recommend them to others!

My child was struggling badly with Precalculus, so a guidance counselor at St. Andrews had recommended Academic Advantage. Basically, the instructor, Seth, made the subject understandable for my son. It was like he was translating Greek into English. That semester Steven ended up with a B, but the next semester he got an A and was even able to take the SAT Math subject test. Steven is now in Calculus and he did very well on the Math subject test. I am really glad the guidance counselor referred me to them.

My child went to one of the big national chains for tutoring. He had to share a tutor with three other kids for $60 per hour. It was absolutely outrageous. My child got nothing out of it. I asked around and was referred to Academic Advantage. Instead of having to work with one tutor per four students, my child got to meet one on one with a certified teacher who came to our house.
