In 1977, I started my first adventure into backcountry elk hunting w my Dad in the Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana. I am blessed that I experienced many years with great outfitters - all legendary, from the Bob to Gardiner, Mt to Jackson, Wy and a few DIY in between! I've been elk hunting for 20 years. ABO, Cameron and his team are as top notch as they come. Cannot say enough good things about how they conduct their business, truly make you feel welcome and provide an unforgetable experience. To the solo 1 star review... they clearly have no idea how elk hunting works... especially in the mountains. Elk are unpredicable... even when you think you have them figured out. Cameron and team are more than outfitters, they are family. I have personally hunted with Cameron for a few years now, and all I can say is he and his family have become more than just friends in the field, they have become family. The level of knowledge and experience in the field go far beyond knowing the game you hunt. It is how you treat people and how you treat the game.
