The director is HORRIBLE !! I"ll just say that.
A wonderful program for recovery. They really care about the people they serve. 12step oriented, and provides a structured environment to help women with substance abuse lead a better life.
I stayed there only a few days. I believe the women who runs the house is out for herself. She's barely ever there. When she is she's tired and in a hurry . I had to find a place with people who are inviting to me. That was absolutely not the case and sleeping on a plastic coated bunk bed that had a few slats missing was the worst sleep IvI' ever had running a close second to jail. No the relingon pressed on to me and the snitches that get you in trouble for getting novacaine for having a tooth removed. Sad. DON'T GO THERE .... read more
Above the Water house is a womens sober living. It's a home setting which makes it comfortable. Definitely a great program if your looking for more recovery and prefer not to be in an institution.
