In March 2022, I fell and broke my wrist while running, something I love with everything that encompasses me. Before and after surgery, the only thing that I could ask the orthopedic surgeon was, "When can I run?" and "when can I pick up a snapping turtle?" (for context: I'm a graduate student). The doctor knew to send to me a great place—Ability Hand and Shoulder Rehabilitation—because they helped me do just that. If you are in the area and need occupational therapy, I could not recommend this team highly enough! I had several injuries/surgeries this past year and the staff at Ability Hand to Shoulder Rehab did an absolutely incredible job helping with my recovery. Both OTs are amazingly kind and knowledgeable and made every visit enjoyable, even when I was at my most miserable. Their patience and expertise made my rehab experience go smoothly and as painlessly as possible. The office staff is also brilliantly helpful and welcoming.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ABILITY Hand to Shoulder Rehabilitation. Laura Miear gave me excellent advice and it paid off! I have followed her treatment with amazing results. My issue was arthritis in my fingers. I feel that Laura educated me on how to keep the disfigurement from advancing. My fingers look better today than when I first visited Ability.
