Laura and her team were successful in reducing my thumb pain and improving my hand strength. I knew I selected the right OT when on my first visit Laura volunteered to sew a new piece of velcro on my Comfort Brace to extend its life. She demonstrated early on her willingness to go above and beyond to help a new patient. Her staff was very competent and professional in every way. I highly recommend Ability to anyone with hand issues.
After a major wrist surgery, I was advised to undergo several months of physical therapy. OrthoVirginia handled my follow-up medical care, while Ability partnered with them to provide PT. I had the chance to work with all three physical therapists at Ability, and each was knowledgeable about wrist anatomy and skilled at explaining how its components function. Laura and her team are experts in their field. After having my first child, I developed intense wrist pain and didn’t think it would ever get better. Thanks to Laura’s care and expertise, I’m now completely pain-free and back to normal. Highly recommend this practice.
My son received sports rehabilitation on his throwing arm and shoulder. He was very pleased with his therapy and continues therapy during his school and travel ball seasons. For example, they were able to work me in when I caused a flare to my thoracic outlet syndrome and helped reduce my pain to get back to work.
