David, Alysha and the team are wonderful at Abbeylawn Manor. We were looking to move my mom to the residence from a hospital. The Abbeylawn team were there for our family through the entire process. They always had time for us and answered all of our questions. They did everything possible to make the transition as comfortable and smooth as possible. My wife(Carol) had her mom here for just over 1 year. Staff are wonderful. Compared to other places it is affordable and no nickel and diming. We would definitely recommend.
The staff are lovely so if you are looking for a place for your parents to be taken care of with respect this is it. We were definitely oversold on how exciting this place is. There are no trips anywhere, the activities are bingo, word search, Friday afternoon "entertainment" and a book club where they are read to. My mom has been bored, she was really hoping to find people to make friends with and chat but most people are deaf or slipping into dementia.
