Poor. My great grand mother stayed here for a brief period of time before she died. In her time here there was a rather serious incident that taken place. My grandma was on water tablets at the time and needed to go to the toilet quite regularly. So in the night my nan buzzed for staff to assist her in using the bathroom only for one of the "carers" to barge in her room, take her buzzer from her and throw it behind some drawers so she wouldn't buzz anymore....ofcourse we complained and demanded this member of staff be dealt ... read more

My grandma was admitted to abbeydale after a rapid decline in her health. We were all so worried about putting her in to a social care setting but honestly we have not looked back. The activities by far exceed our expectations and the upcoming festivities are endless. we can’t thank the team enough for how much they do for all the residents and the care they provide.
