I had originally left a medium-positive review. I have fairly high expectations as a consumer. I had not understood Tencel (c), a fiber made from eucalyptus and/or sustainably sourced wood pulp is even MORE environmentally-friendly than bamboo. I had been kind of stuck on bamboo seeing as it grows so quickly. After my review, I got a call from Abaka clarifying this. It was a teachable moment and a growth opportunity. I had ordered bamboo undershirts. Instead, I got tencel tops. Tencel is not bamboo. I felt mislead, though the garment is comfortable. There's a lot of competition online. faulty advertising isn't a winner for me as a consumer.

Superbe boutique avec de très beaux vêtements. Belle gamme de prix aussi avec possibilité d'acheter des vêtements avec légers défauts ou encore des fins de collection à moindre prix. Excellent service à la clientèle aussi. Je recommande fortement, encourageont la production de vêtements locaux

I had an amazing experience with Abaka in Montreal. I bought leggings, shirts, and bras, and I am honestly so impressed with the quality. The fabrics are incredibly soft, comfortable, and breathable, and you can really feel that the materials are high quality and made to last. I also love that their clothing is eco-friendly and made in Canada, which makes me feel even better about supporting this company.
