I had a great experience with AB Marine when I owned my Autoprop propellers and when I needed new propellers for my boat, Brendan very patiently provided the information I needed to make an intelligent decision and then worked with me to assure the right prop was selected for my boat, motors, and transmission. We had a difficult job finding the right prop for our sailboat. Brendan and Geoff were very helpful and responsive, and ultimately found us the right prop to maximize our engine and waterline length. In addition to the great service, the Vari-Profile prop we purchased from AB Marine is versatile and fantastic. Highly recommended!
I replaced my engine and needed a new propeller. I bought a Gori three blade from Jeff. He spec'd the size and number of blades. HIs calculation was incorrect as the prop he spec'd was way too big. I returned the three blade and replaced it with a smaller two blade. Jeff promised to refund the price difference. He never did and has ducked my phone calls and emails. Recommendation: DO NOT ACCEPT A-B CALCULATION ON PROP SIZE. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU NEED. DONT RELY ON AB INTEGRITY. i HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED AND THEN IGNORED.... read more
I am VERY happy about my entire experience with AB Marine. My sailing catamaran lost a Flexofold 2-blade folding prop and I went on the Internet looking to replace that missing prop and ended up getting a matched pair of Gori 2-blade folding props. Brendan was fantastic in working with me to figure out my options. His advice turned out to be perfect. Great customer service. We are pulled out on the hard, and the marina made some mistakes while attempting to pull our Gori prop off to service the sail drive. Gave AB Marine a call, and within minutes, someone at the Annapolis Boat Show called back to help me with the issue. Got instructions, videos, and a parts list together for servicing the prop since we have it apart, with the parts arriving in 2 days.
