For an AAFES gas station/convenience store it's a great place. Subway is located inside. Decent selection of Class Six (alcohol) beer, wine, and liquor. Only downside to this location is that when the store is closed the gas pumps are unavailable which is interesting, I haven't seen any other AAFES locations do that. The other AAFES gas station on the east side of base has the gas pumps available 24hrs.
Went to purchase alcohol when I walked in the cashier was checking someone out. I got what I wanted and walked up front and she was standing where the line would start and I asked her to check me out and she told me I need to go to self checkout. I asked why if she needed to verify my age and she said nothing to me just turned her head. I put my item back and left. I so tired of this place forcing shoppers to use self checkout. It shouldn't be forced and should be there for customer convenience only.
