The owners are exceptionally friendly, professional, and like another user said, will bend over backwards to help you. HOWEVER, the store itself is on the smaller side, and you'll need a military ID to purchase any military issue clothing. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
There is a paper sign on the main door that says" As of August 16, 2024 the Exchange will be open Monday- Friday 0830 - 1730. The Exchange will be closed on Saturday & Sunday."
I don't blame it. At least they have a clothing and sales and shoppette. In a near future Rock Island Arsenal PX should begin construction of a bigger PX like at least the one In Fort Hamilton, in Brooklyn, NY. Me and my family drove 2 hours and 40 minutes for almost nothing despite miraculously we found and bought a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner and other unexpected essentials... Now we were grateful for that day in July 2021...
