Im a local electrical contractor that does quite a bit of business in the Passaic/Bergen County area. The employees at this business seem to lack motivation to help and respect for their customers. They do not seem to be knowledgeable in the electrical field and have poor customer service skills. Buyer Beware. I had elementary questions and noone seemed to know or care what I was talking about. Ive been a customer of a-vans for many years. I find that they are helpful and knowledgeable. Their same day delivery service cant be beat, an order called in by 9 am is usually at site within a few hours. I highly suggest them.
Ive bought stuff here, I find the quality better than Home depot. But they are less likely to stand around giving you advice for 15 minutes like the retired electricians helper at home depot. Support local small business.
