The staff here are knowledgeable and pleasant but don’t expect prompt service, there is never more than one person there and you will have to wait your turn. Great selection of notions but the shop is very cluttered and not easy to navigate. Good selection of sewing machines and sergers. Also accessories for machines like the Bernina feet. Probably the only place like it in NW Calgary.
I wish I had known about this place before buying my first sewing machine in Canada. I ended up purchasing my second machine here, and we also bought one for my daughter from this store. The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Their understanding of the different machines really helped me choose the best option for my sewing needs. I would definitely recommend this store.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Sewing Sensation on Northmount Drive for several years now.
