A People's Choice did a great job on the probate I had to go through for my mom. I really didn't have to think about most of it . I just signed or filled out the papers they sent through the Portal. I would definitely use A People's Choice again if the need arises! All their people were professional and friendly. Overall it was a great experience for me at a very difficult time! LW *******, CA

A People's Choice is an incredible organization and extremely well run business. My probate was taking place in California, but I live in Washington state. Probate is extremely expensive, but A People's Choice is able to lower this expense but a huge amount and provide outstanding service. They provided perfect results twice for my non-contested legal separation and divorce filings. It's a great service as long as you are engaged in ROUTINE legal matters. I think the negative reviews below probably came from folks too cheap to pony up for a lawyer.
THEY ARE RUDE THEY WILL CUT YOU OFF AND WILL NOT LET YOU ASK FOR HELP. LIKE OTHER PEOPLE SAID THEY CHARGE YOU TO OPEN A BOILER TEMPLATE THAT IS STANDARD AND IF THE RELATIONSHIP DOES NOT GO WELL BETWEEN YOU AND THEM THEY WILL KEEP THE 150.00 FOR OPENING A QUESTIONNAIRE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS, AND LIARS. IT IS A 0 STAR NOT EVEN WORTHY OF 1 STAR
Sorry but I also have nothing good to say about my experience with this company so far. I will say AFTER they made sure they had my money they have gone the extra mile with the " It is not my job" kind of attitude. All I can say is Run...
I used A People's Choice to put a property that was left to me, through Probate. I had never been through the process before, and wanted to be involved, as opposed to handing it over to an attorney. APC was very good about walking me through the process, which can be quite involved. When I ran into a snag with the Will, they recommended an attorney, who was fantastic, very reasonably priced, and got me through a tough part of the process. My situation was somewhat unique as I live in Nebraska and am an attorney. My goal, in handling my aunt's estate (she was a California resident) was to work in tandem wth A People's Choice. This is a "partnership" and one does need to recognize APC has very good staff members, but they cannot dispense legal advice. We hired them to assist with getting my fathers house thru probate for $3850. Only the house needed to be changed into our names as per his will. All else was automatically settled via TOD. After milking bunch more of money for "extra labor and expenses" and requiring several days of foot work to be done on my part, we got the Petition For Final distribution court date after 13 months. They are still asking for more money ($500) for unstated "extra labor and expenses".
I hired them to handle my divorce and all I got was the run around they asked for a special house deed that I never heard of I have the original one but that’s not what they wanted but what they really wanted was more money I wouldn’t recommend them as dog catcher
