Instructors should learn from Jason on how to teach engagingly. Jason did a wonderful job conveying to us all the important safety knowledge that we need to know as miners. I was able to pay attention for the most of the 24-hr class. Maybe Jason should start a training course on pedagogy.
Been going to Jason at A & M for three years for MSHA new miner and refresher. Very informative and interactive.
Jason is a very interesting person. His instruction methodology is very unconventional. The three days of MSHA training went on like a breeze. The training was more of an experience than set of instructions that is conventionally passed on to. Overall, a must go place if you are up for MSHA training. Also, don't ask for bathroom right when you enter there for tye first time. You might get answer like " there is a bucket outside" :)
The instructor of the new miner MSHA certification class (Jason) made the 24 hour class much more entertaining and bearable than expected with his animated personality and jokes. He is very knowledgeable and shares a lot of his experiences which often provided more valuable/memorable information, than the videos. Overall, I would recommend taking this class with Jason!
Jason is very knowledgeable and very informative. He keeps you focus on the subject being taught and has stories to tell. He is not like previous instructors that are mono toned and boring. He is full of energy and keeps the class motavative to learn.
