I took a Beginner Crochet class recently. The Teacher was TOPS! The yarn and store collection FABULOUS!! But I paid $65 for a 3 hour class, and there was much more that was needed on many of our parts to feel we 'got our money's worth'. Meaning, we had a progression of 'chains' in the rows, and when you 'mastered' the single chain, then you 'graduated' to the half double, then Double, and if fast enough, Triple chain. Working on a special project, after using a different type of yarn. I went in and Jennifer and the staff helped me get the total qry ordered of the skeins I needed for the project. I can't wait to share the finish project.
I loved visiting the quaint yarn shop. When you look through the windows you will see a welcome sight of antiques and Knick Knacks to the left, and yarn and knitting/crochet supplies to the right. One of the things this store boasts is PNW local yarns. The supply of yarns from around the world is great as well. Don’t forget to get your yarn spun into a ball before you leave. First time visiting the new location in Milton. Took a class - well attended. Spacious store with lots of yarn etc and a small cafe.
