I highly recommend The Golden Retreat Care Home. I couldn’t be happier with the facility and their staff. They are so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My Grandmother has a special diet and they do a wonderful job making sure she has all her favorites. They spend extra one on one time with her to keep her happy and positive. The home is clean, bright and well maintained. The owners are easy to talk with and keep me informed of my Grandma’s health. Beware this care home...after our parents lived there for a year we got a 20% increase notice for the room they were in or a 14% raise to move them into another room. One of our parents is in hospice care. We received this notice along with an email about how the owner is operating at a deficit, 2 weeks before Christmas and 2 weeks after we had just visited from out of state.
