Avoid using them for filing your taxes at all costs. Save yourself the hundreds of dollars he charges and go to an actual tax expert. He charges hundreds of dollars for a service turbo tax could do for less money. This says a lot considering Mr Paredes is a seasoned accountant who doesn’t seem to really care for his clients. He doesn’t give much explanation or advice on what is being filed. When asked questions he provided short answers with very little detail.
Extortion!! 0930 was our phone appointment for tax consultation. mr paredes called at 1000 for a quick review for exactly 7 minutes. we tried turbo tax few months back because paredes charges 300 and it's really expensive but we were not comfortable doing it ourselves and we're not sure if we did it right being we are not accountants. we found out we had the same outcome and so we decided not to file with paredes since it is really expensive. turbo tax is half the price. we called 1030 to not proceed with filing and obviousl... read more
