I love this old store; it has many different items from gifts to gardening and canned goods... it has to be one of my favorite places in Mississippi. They just celebrated 100 years of operation.
An historic store which has retained its historic feel, the A.F. Carraway Store is worth a visit just to appreciate the atmosphere. However, it is also a handy place to pick up a cold drink or a snack while riding your bike on the nearby Longleaf Trace. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I was glad we stopped by on our way through town.
