There was no "caring heart" for our family during a recent decision process for my Dad after a fall and requiring a change of residential placement. For the most part, the requests to evaluate certain types of AF Homes with 24-hour wake staff and to consider memory care facilities were disregarded. My sister & I were not included on facility tours, which is discouraging as a primary caregiver and POA. We had to visit facilities after the fact.
