I had a great experience at a-1 hawk stark street. I have always thought that pawn shops were slimmy and gross. Well i was very surprised i was treated with the up most respect from Bob. He was so honest and real. I bought a diamond ring and earrings from him. He gave me a huge discount. I recommend this pawn shop to everyone.
I recently went to A-1 hawk needing 160.00 for my PGE bill.The only thing i had to barrow against was my laptop. I have had this laptop in pawn before for a much smaller amount. I spoke to the manager of the store Sarah and asked her to please increase my loan by fifty dollars or my light would be shut off by five that day. I have been reading the good and bad comments on this page about A-1Hawk so i decided i was going to the Division location to look for some car audio. When i got to the store the staff were very helpful and nice. I must say i was very hesitant to buy used car audio however i was on a budget that new prices could not support. Always a Pleasure – I have always been very happy with at A1-Hawk. All of their locations are staffed with friendly people. Wether you are looking for a loan or wanting to buy or sell, check them out, as I have always found them to be much better than the "other" guys. I quit comparison shopping years ago...dont waste your time looking around for the best deal....just go to A-1 Hawk for the best service around!
BEST PAWN SHOP IN TOWN! – I have been going to A-1 Hawk for years and couldn't be happier with the service or prices!!!!! They are very attentive and friendly but not pushy! They truly care about their customers! If you want a great deal go to A-1 HAWK !!!!
Dont go here if at all possible – Do not go here! the only way they stay in business is cheating people out of their money. i took games in and they would give me barely a dollar apiece for them when the pawn shop up the road would give me 4.
Closes on a whim - not always open when they say they are - beware! – Closes on a whim. Tried to get my stuff out of hawk on Monday, but they were closed. They post they are open but arent. Now I have to wait another week and hope they are open so I dont lose my tools!
