I recently stopped by 99 Ranch Market after work and was honestly surprised by how good the bakery section was. I picked up the White Peach Cream Puff and the Sea Salt Cheese Bun, and both were excellent. The cream puff had a light peach flavor and a soft, fresh cream filling that tasted much higher quality than I expected from a grocery store bakery. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The selection here is extremely limited and most of the items are expired or pushing expiration date. The layout isn’t as good/clear as other marts and DON’T BOTHER ASKING FOR HELP. The mirin I was looking for wasn’t in the cooking oils and the workers sped up whenever I tried to ask for help. I finally asked a worker for help and they faked not understanding english despite speaking with their white friend right before I asked :| ).
