Not much service being offered there
My husband and I entered the shop and were waiting for 15 minutes in front of the store lady. No hi, no acknowledgment or just a gesture of welcome to the store…felt completely ignored.
Avoid this store! Terrible service and mostly rude and inattentive staff!
I have had 2/2 subpar experiences from 99 Bikes Bondi Junction. The first time, after I picked my bike up from servicing (even paid for the premium upsell), as soon as I went to cycle out of the shop, the whole chain fell off. I took it back in and overheard the worker mentioning to the other that they had put the chain on incorrectly. Not really sure why I’m paying so much when a seemingly simple error was made. I was seeking assistance regarding a widely recognised Shimano crank recall, I presented the faulty crank for inspection, only to be turned away due to it not being 'Fitted to a bike' and 'needs to have proof of purchase'.
