Extremely disappointing experience with Wave Financial. They **issued my 1099-K in my personal name instead of my business name**—without ever asking for a W-9 or giving me any warning. No communication, no disclosures, no option to correct it, just an automatic decision that **all single-member LLCs should receive it under their personal name**.
