I never have time to degrease and lube my bike, but Ray did a thorough job and also cleaned my bike. I also got a derailleur adjusted and shifting was a lot smoother after. Would definitely come back.
Ray is the proprietor of 5-Banks, and he is a very skilled bicycle repairist, troubleshooter and technician. Beyond his technical/mechanical skills, he is a great communicator and easy to do business with. 5-Bikes is a "Repair Shop" only. He does not have a shop full of bikes and accessories for sale. Ray is the best. Came in for a simple service but he also made sure my tires were in good shape and sent me off with great advice. Highly recommend him!
I needed to have an older full suspension bike checked out, gear shifters were getting stuck and bike hasn’t been ridden in years. I called 5bikes and inquired about getting a tune up. Ray told me I might not need one and may only need some minor repairs. I made an appointment for the next day and turns out I just needed the shifters flushed and is working great now, he finished everything on the same day.
