I am more than one year into regular contrast therapy and I love it! I have increased from one to two times per week and plan to continue this. Clay is a great coach and there is a nice community of regular plungers that makes this even more special.
This is by far the most therapeutic experience I have ever had. I started a year ago and wouldn’t choose anywhere else to heal and restore my body and mind. The facility is beautiful and immaculate. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. I have made such great friends sitting in the sauna! Coach Clay is one of the kindest and supportive people I have ever met. Asking my friend to jump in the river with me in winter was a hard sell, but with the promise of a sauna, clean water, and a professional coach, we ‘took the plunge’. It was a super positive experience to have the comfort provided by the professional facility, and the expertise from Coach Clayton. I have cold plunged many times but this was my first contrast therapy and I am surprised —it really takes it to the next level.
Love the feeling of the contrast therapy! Such a great sense of relaxation and peace at the end.
Sauna/Ice Bath Therapy at 541 Social Club is Fantastic. Whether I am there at 9am or at 3pm I leave in a great mood. I look forward to the social aspect. Chatting in the sauna, I make new friends every session. It is not as hard as I thought, getting in the very cold water. You should try it. It will make you feel gooood. !
