I got there an hour and a half before closing. I was about 30 minutes in, the lights shut off upstairs but I didnt think too much about it. I went downstairs and ALL the lights were off and the metal door was shut. they literally closed the shop with me in it. nobody even checked to see if someone was in the building, just locked it and left AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSING. I had to slam on the door for at least 5 minutes before someone happened to come and open it. wouldn't recommend

Our favorite local antique shop. A wide variety and not as junky as some places. I have bought pottery, art glass, and vintage paper ephemera here.

This place adamantly disregards the history of the cultural genocide of Navajo and neighboring Native American tribes. The building was originally used to imprison 3,000 Native children as a part of the effort to forcefully assimilate Native individuals into white, American society, and was shut down in the 80’s due to riots and questions of the buildings security. Currently, the building houses ugly, overpriced furniture and antiques. There is absolutely no reason for this piece of Utah’s history to be swept under the rug. ... read more
