Buyer Beware, this company has a TERRIBLE policy for customers having any recourse with order issues. I purchased a coordinating outfit, (2 items), one of the items was cancelled without my knowledge and I still had to pay for the other item, was not able to return it and was stuck with one piece of an outfit that I did not want. Terrible customer experience!!! They won't be around long.
Completely fraudulent business - stay away. Thank goodness for Amex buyers protection because my order has been missing for over a month. I’ve emailed countless times, called and left multiple messages, and even tried to reach them on social media. No one will respond. Do nor be fooled by this shopping site if you expect to receive your order.
They're not sample sale store. They're basically dropshipping i.e. taking your money and then ordering from overseas like China to backfill your items. Here's my experience: Placing my order on 20 Aug, received order confirmation right away. However, until 07 Sept when I didn't receive any shipping information, I emailed them asking and it took them 7 days to reply back that the order would be shipped the next week. I've been shopping at the physical 260 Sample Sales for over 10 years now. The new online version is a horrible mess. They have zero customer service and use a dropship system that creates a ton of problems. They never update the tracking and lost my package from DVF with over $400 worth of dresses. I've been emailing them for close to a month with no resolution. They either don't respond or when they do say they are still waiting to hear from the brand. They sent me the wrong size shoes. They would not accept a return. I am out the $$ due to their negligence.
Zero customer protection, terrible customer service - don't shop online! 260 Sample Sale (the company) failed to ever deliver my package ($165) and never took any remedying actions to solve the situation. The company argued that USPS delivered the package on Thanksgiving Day .. while our video footage shows no parcel delivery. The company blamed USPS and pushed us to create a claim with USPS, which has been denied three times. Very unsatisfying experience and a pure loss of $165.
Review is for online: 260 sample sale order. Brand sold at 260: Reiss. They considered ink stain that no professional cleaner could remove as a "minor damage" and quoted a policy that they sell second hand items, etc. They also REFUSED to refund or exchange item repetitively quoting policy.
