We are from out of town and were in the Hat for an evening of entertainment. We never hesitate to use a rideshare service if the option is available and have used Uber in several different cities in Canada and other countries. We had never heard of Uride, but after reading reviews, decided to give it a try. We were impressed with the app, which functioned perfectly. There are now 5 companies that taxi in the Hat. There used to be only 2, Deluxe and Care Cab. This company is the cheapest and the best as I have tried them all. I am on a farm just on the edge of the Hat and it only costs me 10.62 to get to Superstore. Care and Deluxe before I knew this company charged me 16.00 plus. I can't say enough good things about this company. Even in -30c I got a cab in under 15 minutes. When I lived in Calgary you were lucky to get a cab in under 30 minutes. Ride is apparently cheaper than care and deluxe but I tried calling all of them-no answer. These companies cannot pick up from residences so got to a public location nearby and meet up.
