I am a first time home buyer and was nervous to go through this process! I didn’t know much of anything! David and his team (Stephanie, Tiffany, and Noah) made this unusually easy! I felt so cared for and so confident in them! They literally walked me through every step! They were extremely respectful and responsive in all questions (and I had a lot!) I'll title this, "Why I changed Mortgage Companies within a Year after dealing with Flat Branch Mortgage." This was my 5th house, so I'm not a novice to the Ins and Outs of the Home Buying experience. Even though it cost me additional closing costs and I paid all that interest for no reason for 11 months, I just couldn't stay with Flat Branch any longer. David Nelson is a rockstar! We were first time homeowners and had plenty of questions and concerns, and David patiently answered away. He really seems motivated to pursue what's best for the buyer, and makes the process as efficient as possible, while still treating you like a human and not another number. He also reached out to us first about our refinancing when the mortgage rates dipped, which is honestly fantastic. He was very honest about the process and understanding of when it makes sense versus when it doesn't.
