I was very hopeful when I first started working with 1UCU on my mortgage application. They even were willing to match another lender offer I had. This quickly devolved when the mortgage services VP rudely emailed me to tell me that the rates had expired and she was closing my file. The only problem was that I was never told that the offer would expire between the Thursday late afternoon when the fee sheet was offered and Monday late morning when she was going to close my file. It was a rare pleasure in this day and time to do business with employees who are so professional and competent. We made a deposit from the 1st University Credit Union in Waco, where we live, which is our Fort Worth City Credit Union’s sister CU and it was seamless! I visited this location for the first and the customer service was a 10/10. The bank had a warm and welcoming environment. The staff members were happy and acknowledge my existence when I walked into the bank.
