I purchased a king Mattress and box springs from D T McCalls. I asked about the same as cash option. I was told I could get 24 months same as cash. However, once I agreed, the contract was sent to a finance company, 1st Heritage,, otherwise I would never have had any dealing with a finance company. I made the purchase in 12/22. The staff is really nice. Customer service was great. My account got transferred here from Covington Credit. Once the loan is paid off I won't be renewing. It was taking a really long time. Most places has desk to sit at. Not here. You have to stand for long time. It's hard with food and ankle problems.
I opened this loan to build my credit. Opening the loan on a promotion was super easy. They mailed me a check (that I didn't ask for) and all I had to do was deposit it. If you want to make payments toward the principal you have to specifically tell them every time you make a payment, if you are paying more than the min payment amount, to put the extra toward the principal.
