Stefan and Alina operate a loving and caring home. They've cared for my mother for years now, and we couldn't imagine her living anywhere else. The home is comfortable and safe, the food is all home cooked and healthy. She is well cared for and it just makes us feel happy to know she is in such a good place. We are forever grateful.

Looking for a place to care for your loved one can be a difficult and emotional process. There has been no second-guessing, only relief, after our family member was placed in the care of 1st Bear Hugs. The residents are regarded as family and the care they receive is top-notch. We took a little time looking for a family oriented home that our Mother would appreciate and enjoy. We toured several Adult Family Homes in Milton, Edgewood, Federal Way, Fife, Puyallup, and more. Several of them were honestly places solely in it for the number of patients and the money. It was evident that a few were operated poorly and the buildings were in need of maintenance along with some questionable dialog with staff. Stefan and Alina with 1st Bear Hugs cared for our mother for several years through late stages of dementia and other related health issues. They provided an extremely high level of care through all stages of our mother’s declining health. Due to her dementia, our mother did not fare well in a clinical type environment.
